According to the PDSA , it is a good source of potassium, vitamin C, vitamin A, and vitamin B6.

It's also high in fiber to support healthy digestion, and its high water content (92%) keeps dogs cool and hydrated

Is watermelon safe for dogs?

Watermelon pulp is safe and nutritious for dogs, but eating too much of it can cause an upset stomach.

Watermelon also contains sugar, although its high water content means it shouldn't cause any unhealthy blood sugar spikes.
